Prof. Hon has published over 165 journal papers, including over 30 papers related to financial mathematics, as well as 21 book chapters, monographs, and special issues. His research in these areas has been widely recognized for its innovation and contribution to the field, and he has been ranked No. 49 in China and No. 1021 in the world in mathematics based on the Top Scientists Ranking for 2022 using H-index. He is also an editor of 9 international journals and a reviewer of 26 international journals. Prof. Hon has also completed over 42 research grants projects successfully. He holds a PhD in Mathematics and has published over 5 papers in international journals related to option pricing by his invented novel numerical methods - the Generalized Finite Integration Method.

Prior to his work in the financial industry, Sam held senior management positions in a listed financial company. These contributions have greatly assisted in the sales and marketing efforts of the companies he has been associated with.

Sam holds an Honors Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Applied Economics, as well as a Master's degree in Finance with a specialization in Investment Management. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in Corporate Governance (to be confirmed) and is a qualified Chartered Financial Strategist (CFC).
